{"id":29,"date":"2015-03-25T14:09:20","date_gmt":"2015-03-25T14:09:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wsa-albania.org\/?page_id=29"},"modified":"2019-08-13T15:11:26","modified_gmt":"2019-08-13T15:11:26","slug":"expert-panel","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wsa-albania.org\/expert-panel\/","title":{"rendered":"Expert panel"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Expert in Albania\u00a0and Kosovo<\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"www.wsis-award.org\/national-experts\/europe\">Eminent National Expert for Albania<\/a> and Kosovo\u00a0 is Mr. Dritan Mezini, Managing Director of <a href=\"www.dm-consulting.biz\">DM Consulting Services<\/a> and Board Chairman of <a href=\"www.aita-al.org\">Albanian Information Technology Association (AITA)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Expert Tasks and Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nThe main task of an expert panel member is to provide nominations from his\/her country based on an objective process of judgement, according to the 8 categories and guidelines of the WSA. The eight products (one per category) of each UN member state shall be proposed by entering the data into the WSA online database.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High expertise and several years of working experience in the fields of ICT, multimedia, and content industries.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in English.<\/li>\n<li>Experts shall be very well informed about the WSA initiative and processes, prove high motivation and state a clear reason for their intention to join the WSA.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Selection Strategy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For the selection of the best practice examples from Albania and Kosovo, the expert is in process of choosing among the following strategies:<\/p>\n<p>WSA National Contest, based on the WSA rules and procedures. WSA offers such national contests an extensive software package for handling the registration and jury process along with an extensive manual and contest hand book (see below).<br \/>\nA cooperation with an existing national contest, (adaptation of the categories or establishing a sub WSA contest is required).
